isitback is operated by Intelligent Sands LLC. We try to collect as little data as possible. This page describes everything we do and do not collect.

The website (isitback.com)

The site is a static catalog. Browsing it does not require an account, login, or any personal information.

• Cookies: we set no first-party cookies.
• Server logs: Amazon CloudFront and our origin server keep standard access logs (IP address, request URL, user-agent, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are retained at most 30 days.
• Analytics: none.
• Ads: we serve ads via Google AdSense. Google may set cookies and use identifiers as described in Google's privacy policy. Ads are not personalized to anything we know about you — we do not pass any user data to Google.

The iOS app

The iOS app does not require a login and never asks for your name, email, phone number, or location. There are no accounts.

We do collect the following, only for the purposes listed:

• Anonymous device identifier. The first time you launch the app, it generates a random UUID and stores it in your iOS Keychain. We use it to route push notifications to your device. It cannot be reversed to identify you, and we do not link it to any other personal information.
• Anonymous backup identifier. The app also generates a second random UUID and stores it in your iCloud Keychain, so it is available on your other devices signed into the same Apple ID. It names the backup of your show lists (below). Apple syncs it end-to-end encrypted; we never see your Apple ID or anything else about you.
• Apple Push Notification token (APNs). If you tap "Notify me" on a show, we store your APNs token together with the device UUID and the show ID on our servers (Amazon DynamoDB). We use this strictly to send you a push notification when that show returns, and for nothing else. Apple may rotate the token at any time; we update our copy when iOS notifies us.
• Your show lists. The IDs of the shows you follow, and which of them you've asked to be notified about (and for what — new episodes, seasons, renewals). Stored on your device and backed up on our servers under the backup identifier, so they come back if you reinstall the app or move to a new iPhone. They contain show IDs only — nothing about you.
• Purchases. Notifications are unlocked by an optional one-time in-app purchase. The transaction is handled entirely by Apple — we never see or store your payment details. Your unlock status is managed by the App Store on your device; we don't keep a separate record of it.
• Anonymous usage analytics. We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate — for example which screens are viewed, which shows are opened, which "Watch on…" links are tapped, and what is searched for. Firebase assigns a pseudonymous app-instance identifier and records standard device details (model, iOS version, and an approximate region inferred from IP). We use this only to improve the app. It is not used for advertising, is not linked to your name, email, or any account, and is not used to track you across other apps or websites. Google processes this data on our behalf under Firebase's privacy and security terms.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help run the app on our behalf: Google (Firebase Analytics) and Apple (push-notification delivery).
• We do not use advertising trackers or cross-app/website tracking in the iOS app. Our analytics (above) is anonymous and never linked to advertising or your identity.
• We do not advertise inside the iOS app.
• We do not collect device location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or any other sensitive iOS data.
• We do not link any data to your Apple ID, email, or any account.

Deleting your data

To erase everything we hold about you:

• App data on your device: delete the app from your iPhone or iPad.
• Server data (notifications and backup): unfollow every show in the app — the backup and notification records then hold nothing — or email contact@isitback.com and we'll delete them from our database within 7 days.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the "Updated" date at the top will change with it. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
